Google leaves its Google Apps users in a lurch

Wow - in a pretty big way, Google told its users of Google Apps that it would no longer be able to export files to the older versions of Microsoft Office - effective in 3 days. That doesn't give a lot of notice, does it? This is one of the main issues with using software that is still in its infancy to run your business. Regardless of the size of your business, it is pretty difficult to adapt in 3 days.
