Palmetto Technology Group (PTG) – an Office 365 Specialist and outsourced IT support company – announced it has been named Greater Southeast Area Cloud Partner of the Year by Microsoft’s US Small and Mid-sized Business (SMB) Champions Club. The award recognizes the US SMB Champions Club partner who has demonstrated a commitment to Microsoft SMB Cloud business. Members of the US SMB Champions Club have shown dedication to arming the small community with the right technology and services they need to be successful.
“PTG has worked purposefully and strategically to saturate the SMB cloud market in the southeast region,” PTG CEO Reed Wilson stated. “By focusing on the Microsoft suite of products and consistently arming our engineers with the best and most up-to-date training, it further differentiates PTG from the other IT providers in the area.”
PTG, along with winners in six other categories, was recognized during the Microsoft SMB Champions Award Reception in Orlando, FL in July at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.
“As Microsoft has accelerated the development of innovative technologies such as Azure and Office 365, Microsoft’s productivity suite, to deliver a new mobile first, cloud first approach, we’ve looked to our partners to help bring that vision to life,” said Cindy Bates, vice president of Microsoft US SMB and Distribution. “We value the commitment PTG has demonstrated to the small and mid-sized business community and congratulate them on this achievement.”
