Employers worldwide are feeling the strain of the COVID-19 pandemic and many feel unprepared to handle the shifts it's caused. South Carolina companies are no exception. With all the uncertainty and what feels like daily changes, Best Companies Group conducted an employee survey to help organizations gauge how an organization's employees are feeling with their place of work's response to the pandemic.
Palmetto Technology Group scored a 100% in several of the COVID-19 Response metrics that were a part of the Work@home Pulse report sent to all full-time employees last month (May 2020).
The report measured three key areas, Communication and Confidence, Work Environment, and Demographics to determine the success of an organization's COVID-19 response.
In response to did the organization respond to COVID-19 in a timely manner, PTG scored 100%.
In responding in a way that demonstrated care for employee's well-being, PTG scored 100%.
In communication transparency on how the pandemic is impacting business, PTG scored 100%.
Additionally, 93% of PTG's employees feel their job is secure, despite the state of South Carolina experiencing a 635k increase in unemployment claims since March.
